The CSI Training Centre for Teachers of the Hearing Impaired, Valakom, Kottarakara, Kollam Kerala is a special institution to train the pupil for serving the specially / differently abled children especially the hearing impaired children in the society. This institution was started on 1989. Almost all the special school teachers in Kerala are trained from this institution. Our institution is only institution in Kerala offering diploma level course in the field of hearing impairment. After completing this course almost all trainees are placed in different special fields such as special schools IED, SSA, Buds Schools speech therapy unit Homeo Dispensaries.

We are offering academic Excellency with the help of qualified and experienced faculties in the field of special education. Our aim is to design curriculum at every level in such a way that the trainees are equipped to cause desirable changes in the community at large and particularly among the marginalized sections of the society and also in the field of special education
